This is a sketch of what I'm hoping my final design will look like.

 

 

 

  I would have taken this design  further because I really liked the instrument however I needed to add colour to make it more traditional. The drums does not lend itself to many colours  and technique such as tie and dye hence I have opted for the design below of maracas and oranges .

 

 

I wanted to go with a tropical theme , so I went with the colour orange because I felt that it works well with the drums .

 

 

This is where I got my  inspiration from .  In theses illustration I just like the colours that the artist uses and the way the prints have been placed.
